HAND PAINTED SIGNS

John Pope signwriter and lettering artist has over 25 years professional experience; specialising in hand painted signs and gilding for commercial and private commissions.

VINTAGE, RETRO AND MODERN SIGN WRITING

Vintage to Modern, all hand painted with the greatest care and attention to detail.

"It was back in the mid 1980s having just graduated from Maidstone Art College with an honours degree in fine art that I began working in Film, TV and Theatre as a scenic artist and set designer. It so happened that a piece of theatre scenery required some sign writing so I had a go and instantly caught the sign writing bug."

HONOUR BOARDS

Honour boards are traditionally joined using hardwoods and made to a very high standard. Signs can be painted to match any Pantone, RAL or BS 4800 colour.

As part of the service, John can offer you advice on branding, sign design and layout. Mock ups with placements can be produced with your logo artwork faithfully reproduced. Please explore this site which demonstrates examples of his work and expertise.
